Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011 She was one of the co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. She was also the producer of costumes/sets as well as a composer/musician, text coach and composition instructor for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. Although she usually led from within the ensemble of actors at the end of her time, she made her first appearance as director (and the lighting design) in the SSC's King Lear.
